Pomelo Days began with a shift away from the digital world and toward something more tangible.

After years working as a UX Designer, designing digital products and interfaces, I found myself wanting to create things that existed outside the screen - objects that could be touched, used, and become part of everyday life.

I’ve always loved organization, not just as a habit but as a kind of quiet design challenge. The same way a good digital interface removes friction and makes things feel intuitive, I believe the physical spaces around us can do the same. Pomelo Days is my way of bringing that mindset into the real world - creating thoughtful, well-made essentials that make everyday routines feel a little simpler and calmer.

The story behind the name

The name is an homage to time spent in Pondicherry. It traces back to quiet afternoons in my grandparents’ backyard, where eating pomelo fruit from the trees was a simple, grounding part of the day.

There was an effortless ease to that environment - a feeling of being grounded and unhurried. These products are designed to bring that same sense of clarity to a modern, busy routine.

The philosophy

Pomelo Days is based in Chennai and built around the idea that beautiful things should also work beautifully.

Material Integrity
We use natural cotton and carefully chosen textures as much as possible for their durability, comfort, and the way they age over time. Materials are selected with the intention that they feel good to use and hold up to everyday life.

Intentional Utility
Every detail - from the placement of a zipper to the strength of a strap - is designed with purpose. The goal is to remove small points of friction from daily routines, whether you’re organising your home or packing for a journey.

Simplicity by Design
The belief is simple: when the spaces around us are organised and thoughtfully designed, everyday life feels calmer and more effortless.
